Many thanks to the society for the opportunity to judge for them, pastoral and several gundog
Breeds, plus the Tibetan spaniels. Rather small venue, but I felt the society did well to manage a difficult task. My day was made very pleasant due to the outstanding contribution of my superb stewards, all of which excelled in their task. Thank you Bridgwater.
1 Parkhouse “SHIYANI SUMMER BREEZE “ BB/W girl I’ve seen before, smart well presented, lovely overline, good for type and so very confident,Liked her on the move, such a well balanced gait. Well done.
1 Parkhouse “ SANDALUGA MAGIC SPELL FOR SHIVANI “ D3 year old mature, black, just loved his outstanding profile. So very good on the table. Masculine in all area’s, best of heads, solid firm top line, good for bone, and scoring so well in presentation. Well deserved BOB.
1 Merrick “TIVERSTONE STATESMAN AT STORMERICK” D
15 months old, B/W and so much to like about him, really looked the part. Very even proportions throughout, soft expression, eye, ears, and dentition all good. Solid top line, good tail set. All angles good especially hind angulation, what he used to best effect on the move. Delightful. BOB.

15 month liver and white. Needs time to develop, medium size girl, but promising. Well handled.
1 Quest “CHENREZI DESERT ROSE” D
This exhibit was 10 months old, sable, such a delightful exhibit, so good for type, and outstanding on the table for one so young. Best of heads, very confident expression, excellent reach of neck. Well made front, tidy feet. Used his rear assembly to best effect on the move. BP. Well done.
2 Armstrong “DANDYDAYO YOUNG DESIRE FOR GOLDPEKE” D
Just under a year old and so promising, really good for type, especially strong, well balanced head. Promising future. Very close behind the class winner.
1 Smith “ BALGAY MA BEAU AT SAXINA “ D
2 half year old in full coat, very typical of the breed, loved his head which was so well developed. Well placed ears, dark eye. Top line good, tail set couldn’t be any better. So very sound on the move, pace in particular so very correct for the breed. Well done.
2 Quest “CHENREZI BACK TO BLACK “ D17 month, best for type, and a eye catching presentation. Loved her profile and soundness on the move. Very well collected at all times. One to watch.
1 Quest “ LILILEIAN LOUIS VUITTON “ JW SHCM D
2 year old male of outstanding quality, superb for type, and profile, loved his well balanced head piece, dark eye, well placed ears, well padded muzzle, really good dentition, good reach of neck into well defined wither, solid top line. Front and rear angles good. Scored so well on the move. Such a well balanced side gait. Well done. BOB. G3
2 Bevis “BALGAY MA LINETTE OF STARLANCE “ JW SHCM B
Closing in on 3 years old, and pushing the winner to the limit. Such a delight, full and correct for type exhibit. Best of table presentation. So very feminine in head, and showing a soft expression. Best of profile, and not to heavy in bone, loved her on the move so light on her feet. Well done.
Very disappointed in the quality of some of the breeds listed today. Say no more.

3 year old male, quite mature in coat and well presented. Well balanced profile, and so well collected on the move. All angles good. BOB.

10 month old Tri, initially very disappointed, this exhibit really does have a lot of work to be done to move on up the ladder, a rich tri with a smart profile, I did relent to allow him in the puppy group where he gained a G3. To encourage the owner to preserver with him.

Going on 6 years of age, D/M male, didn’t like his head, but had a well balanced body. Ok for bone, and quite relaxed in presentation. Nice reach and drive on the move. Well done.
2 Alder/Haste “JACANSHEHARVEST TIME WITH AUSSIAME” SHCM D
11 year old R/M, felt he really looked good for his age, carrying a little weight, but on his toes, I’m sure I’ve seen him some time in the past, Ok for type and on the day, best of heads, excellent top line and used his well balance angles to produce a soundness not often seen in exhibits of his age. Well done.
1 Webb “MEGAMAREE JUST AMAZING “ JW D
3 year old, dark slate grey, ok for size and type, in coat, and well presented. Smart head, best of neck which ran into a well defined wither, really good top line, shoulders in particular were very good, coupled of course to the correct angle at upper arm. Good under line. Nice angle to rear, also short well let down hocks. Well done.
1 Cooper “SNOWMEAD SAVANNAH BELLE “ SHCM B
4 year old pale grey girl, so much to like about her, so very confident in expression, coupled with such a well balanced profile which included good for type. Best of top line from a well defined wither. Excellent shoulders well developed hind quarters which she used to best effect on the move, liked her. BOB. Very well done lost out in a strong group.
1 Ware “KIND OF MAGIC DELLE BUCA DELLE FATE AT WASSAIL” B
14 month old, strong Tri, who gave of her best. In coat and ok for type, liked her expression, which was very confident. Well placed ears, very good front assembly. Elbows well tucked in and moderate angle to pasterns. I felt her top line needs to firm up, all told she did produce a very accurate and sound gait especially coming and going. Well done.
1 Scamp “STREGATO THE MALEFICENT AT MARKETDENE” B
2 half year old semi mature sable, very robust for a female, attentive and very confident, so good to see in this breed, liked her eye shape and colour, ears well placed. Strong neck, good op line. Ok for bone. Well developed front and rear. Ultra sound. Well deserved. BOB.
2 Hogg “BROOKYNUT STORMS LEGACY “ D
3 year old sable male who gave a good display both in present and on the move. Liked his well developed masculine head. Used his ears to best effect. Firm top line, good for bone. Both fore and aft angle correct, steady sound side gait. Well done.
1 Morey & Aikman “WELANGA BUSH TUCKER WITH BROOKYNUT” SHCM D “
6 half year old well developed Tri in coat and well handled. Ok for type, soft expression, good length of neck, top line firm. Ok for bone, impressive on the move, but I’m sure would go even better on grass. Gave him a second look for best. Well done.
2 Scamp “ AARONWELL AYEBEECEE” D
At 4 years old a robust strong Tri, who gave of his best, ok for type, handled well and in firm condition. Quality coat, all angles good. Needs to be kept straight on the move, but very sound. Well done.
A very impressive entry, not only in number but quality and type. Temperaments’ in particular outstanding.

7 half months old, sable and so much to admire about her, so very good on the table, confident and showing a superb profile. Best of heads, eyes, ears ,dentition, pigment all excellent. Rich honey colour coat, sable at its best. So very feminine all through. All angles good, gave a brilliant display on the move for one so you, ultra sound and showing her little socks off. BP RBOB. Delightfull.
2 Haensel “SHERKARL COPPER HIGHLIGHTS” B
11 and ¾ to be precise another quality exhibit, on form and giving of her best. Not a great deal to choose between these youngster, loved her confidence and profile. Excellent for type and presentation, ultra sound and well collected. Delightful.

7 half mature Tri in outstanding condition, so very well presented and out to impress. I felt he was handled to perfection, which always scores well with me. Well balanced profile, which I just could not fault. Smart head, piece on a splendid well arched reach of neck, correctly placed ears. Sharp expression, really full of himself. Liked his shirt level top line, and correct tail set. Withers high, shoulders good. Very good tidy feet. Best of angles at rear which included short strong well let down hock. So very impressive on the move, pace, balance, coupled, with reach and drive for such a small breed. BOB. G1 and a pleasure to award in such a strong group. Well done.

3 half year old and ticking so many box’s. So very hard to find fault with him which to be honest, I couldn’t. Loved her for type, condition, and showmanship. Superb profile and such a difficult choice between him and the class winner. Lost out in the end for RBOB to my outstanding puppy. I’m sure I’ll see him again.

2 year old male. Really strong well developed male, out to impress. So very very confident. So very steady on the table. Like his head, had such an alert expression well placed ears and eye shape and colour. Strong well developed neck high wither with solid top line, fore hand correct especially good angle to shoulders. Elbows well tucked in. Tidy feet. Nice tuck at loin. Very muscular hind quarters, short hocks. Sound mover, especially side gait. BOB.
2 Poulton “ MEDDOBE SPICE GIRL “ D
2 year old very soft expression I must admit, I think he really liked me. Excellent arch to neck which gave him a delightful profile. Top line good, best of angles at front and rear. Did well on the move.

Mature male, and a delight to go over, I found the table dogs today absolutely faultless, and a credit to their owner. His profile was outstanding and his powerful physic gave him the optimum to impress on the move. Will I’m sure change places with his stable mate.

5 year old dark brindle. The handler unfortunately needs to get a grip on her behaviour , the exhibit I’m pleased to say was impeccable at all times I fine mature male, who was on a par with the winner, sound and on his toes, could on another day change places.

2 years old dark brindle. Really loved him for type, and presentation. Very very attentive and confident. His overall balance in profile was faultless, especially both fore and aft angles. Very tidy feet. Positive mover, reach drive and pace, outstanding. Well done. BOB. Unlucky in the group.

18 month, semi mature male, just needs to fill out a little. Ok for type, and very alert. Well placed ears, good reach of neck, nice level top line which was firm and of good length to shoulders and of a good angle. Good underline with a moderate tuck at loin. Rear assembly was good but just needs to firm up. Very sound in all directions.

5 year old mature rich tan, really liked him for type and presentation. Could not fault him on the table. Ok for bone, and had the best of fore and rear angles. Came into his own on the move best pace and gave me the reach you expect from the herding section. Well done. BOB. Well done.

Surprise, Surprise, one of the best youngsters I’ve seen for sometime. Such a calm exhibit just over six months. Super headpiece well tipped ears, excellent reach of neck. Solid level top line of good length, good tail set. High wither, which was well defined, Front and rear angles couldn’t be any better. Good feet, slight angle to pastern, under line ok. Roomy chest proportions with just the right tuck at loin. Athletic on the move, so very light on her feet. BAVNSC, BPNSC, G3, PG1. Outstanding
2 Winger “ROSSKALA DARIA I NOOR AT SYANARIA” B Samoyed
Another at just 6 months, needs time, she did settle into a good present and will improve on the move, don’t take her to fast, will watch her progress with interest.

21 months, small girl, who did not seem to be enjoying the experience, improved on the move, ok for type and size, motivated perked up a little. Very sound, and of even temperament.

21 month not a good day for him, failed dentition, and I was not prepared to pursue it. Sound on the move. Needs schooling.
1 Walmsley “ BLANK EXTACY VAN KOEKIE’S RANCH “ D Norwegian Buhund
6 ¾, Black male. Over top size, but a fine profile and well presented. So much to like about him. His top line in particular is so good from a high wither. Really good tail set. Roomy chest proportion, correct under line really good well arched feet. Angles good ultra sound in all directions, made good use of his ears which gave him a very alert expression. Well done.

7 ½ year old male, one I’m very familiar with, on form today, scoring well on the move in particular a stunning side gait. In presentation the profile couldn’t be faulted, and on the move both coming and going good. Well deserved.
2 McShane “ MILESEND DRAMA QUEEN” SSD B
At 12 ½ I found her a delight to go over, still on her toes, and alert. Sound in all directions, you just can’t stop this breed. Brilliant.
