Breed numbers have been released for Welsh Kennel Club, judge Liz Stannard has attracted an entry of 43 Havanese. Havanese will be third in ring 18 after 63 Chinese Cresteds and 29 Lowchen.
Paignton will be the next champiohnship show in the UK for Havanese, with an entry of 21. Havanese will be last in ring 10 on Tuesday, after Griffon Bruxellois, King Charles Spaniels and Coton de Tulears.
In Ireland, there were two shows over the weekend. On Saturday judge Tina Tilous from Finland had 5 Havanese to go over. Best of Breed was Mrs K Loveless’, Mrs J Connolly’s and Ms V Dowty’s Multi Ch Arbens Epic Swagg at Los Perritos. Reserve Green Star Dog was awarded to Michael and Dolores Kane’s Karvil’s Havanese Runaway Baby. Green Star Bitch was awarded to Michael and Dolores Kane’s Telzaro Caramel in White Socks and Reserve Green Star Bitch to Michael and Dolores Kane’s Mournemount The Fairy Princess. Well done to all.
On Sunday, judge Karen Murphy had 8 Havanese to go over. It is very nice to see lots of puppies and youngsters! Best of Breed and Green Star Dog was awarded to Mrs K Loveless’, Mrs J Connolly’s and Ms V Dowty’s Multi Ch Arbens Epic Swagg at Los Perritos, reserve Green Star Dog was awarded to Michael and Dolores Kane’s Karvil’s Havanese Runaway Baby. The Havanese Club of GB are holding a Breed Appreciation Day on Saturday 10th November in Normanton Village Hall, Main Street, Normanton-on-Soar at 10 am for a 10.30 start.
